Corilon quality

Our catalogue of exclusive stringed instruments is distinctive because of the demanding quality standards with which we select historic violins, violas, celli and bows and set them up for you to play. All of the instruments in our collection have excellent musical properties, regardless of their price segment.

Even if we receive an instrument that is flawless, we still review it thoroughly, and we usually give it new customized fittings. If they are not in top condition, we also replace the bridge and sound post, level the fingerboard, exchange the upper nut and saddle, refit or replace the pegs, clean the varnish and correct the glue on smaller seams. Last but not least, we put a new set of Pirastro Tonica strings on our instruments to help create the standard for which Corilon violins is so well known amongst many musicians around the world.
