Markneukirchen violin, approx. 1900
This Markneukirchen violin was crafted approx. 1900, a student violin with a nice, bright appearance and a good sound, that is motivating to play. Shining, golden-brown colored varnish decorates the regularly grained spruce of the top and the softly flamed maple of the two-piece back. The pronounced arching of the violin“s body and the large, distinctive scroll determine the style of this violin, that is completed by the antique character of beautiful patina. Our luthiers thoroughly worked over the instrument and made it ready to play with a new ebony setup, including pegs, tailpiece and chinrest. This crack-free violin convinces with an open, warm sound that is precise and clear, with some lovely note.
