Violino antico modello Klotz

German-Bohemian violin, patterend after Klotz, approx. 1940

This old, brilliant sounding violin of Bohemia is a very well preserved piece with a striking appearance, that was built approx. 1940 in the Bohemian-Saxonian "Musikwinkel". The unknown luthier selected a model referring to the historical Klotz model. The small, elegantly designed scroll, the accentuated edges and the one-piece back of interesting maple wood demonstrate the careful work of an experienced hand. The luminous red-orange varnish completes the antique appearance of this violin, that is with some signs from playing undamaged and was - like all stringed instruments in the Corilo violins online catalogue - completely worked over by our expert luthiers and is offered ready to play. Its strong , clear sound is brilliant and rich in overtones - a voice of good strength suitable for orchestra players.
