3/4 - German student violin, Bubenreuth, 1970ies

A robust old German 3/4 student violin. The bodylength is 33,9 cm. The violin was made in one of the larger Bubenreuth violin manufacturing companies around 1970, probably at FRAMUS. The model is after Antonius Stradivarius. The violin was handmade made from solid woods. The top is made of medium grained spruce, the back of mildly flamed maple. The back is a two-piece back. The purfling is inlaid. The violin has some varnish damage to the body but is substantially undamaged and free from any cracks. It has been meticulously worked over in our atelier and is offered ready to play. The charming sound is warm and open, not too loud. A robust instrument, affordable in price and suitable for little ruffnecks.
