Guarnerius modeled violin; includes appraisal € 2,300
This extremely successful study of a Guarneri was crafted around 1950 by an unknown German violin maker, and it is a strikingly beautiful and aesthetic instrument with excellent acoustic properties. Its creator captured the characteristic features of a Guarneri model very well, especially the lean lines of its shape and the typical high sound holes, which are very cleanly carved – unlike many historic Guarneris. The harmonious large scroll, the perfectly applied purfling and the brilliant orange-red varnish against a yellow-golden background are also of excellent quality. We offer this remarkable violin in perfect condition with only a few traces of use. Its bright and warm sound is powerful, clear and precise, full of strong volume and an unmistakable character. The instrument includes an appraisal by master violin maker Anton Sprenger of Mittenwald, confirming its value at € 2,300.
