Violin bow by Hermann Albert Hoyer

A fine german violin bow by Hermann Albert Hoyer. The bow was made in Markneukirchen around 1930. The bow is stamped Herm. Albert Hoyer on shaft and a logo the frog, the stamps are original. The octagonal stick is made of dark brown pern-ambuco wood. The plain ebony frog is nickel mounted with nickel slide and adjuster. The metal parts of the frog and the adjuster have floral engravings. The soft stick has its balance point in the lower third part of the stick. The bow is agile and plays actively. The bow is producing a bright and clear tone.
