Mittenwald violin from the Bitterer workshops (sold)
This beautiful Mittenwald violin was made in the workshop of the brilliant German luthier Josef Bitterer around 1960. Excellent materials are combined with traditional craftsmanship. The beautiful woods and the warm, orange-toned varnish show actually no signs of use. There are no cracks or other damages. It looks like the violin was stored away for a long time, what is very remarkable if you listen to its bright open sound, which is clear and brilliant with a dark note in the lower ranges. Because of its mint condition, this beautiful instrument deserves the classification “highly recommended”.
