Fine old German Bausch Violin bow
A fine strong German violin bow by Bausch. The bow was made late in the 19th century in Leipzig by a member of the Bausch family. The bow is stamped Bausch on shaft above the frog. The strong round stick is made of fine brown pernambuco wood. The ebony frog is sterling silver mounted with Parisian eye and green shimmering pearl slide. The adjuster is a typical Bausch adjuster. The strong well balanced bow is active and of excellent stiffness. The bow produces a strong, huge and powerful clear tone. Special recommendation!
