Interesting antique French violin after Guarnerius

This violin is an excellent sounding old French violin after Guarnerius. The instrument was master made around 1900 in France, likely Mirecourt. The workmanship is of excellent quality and aesthetics. The woods are beautiful and well selected - the top made of medium grained spruce, the one piece back of mildly flamed maple. The ribs are similar. The model is after Guarnerius as indicated by the label. The varnish is of an especially beautiful transparent golden brown color with expertly made antiqueings. The violin is undamaged, crackfree and in fine playing condition. Its extraordinary huge sound is full-bodied, clear and strong, a bit warm, mature and of round volume. Special recommendation!
