Ackermann & Lesser Dresden violin
While the Saxonian elector organized a major art exhibition in the year 1908 in Desden, this piece of art came out of the Ackermann & Lesser manufactory at the same time. The beautiful instrument is modelled on the Stainer archetype and bears the original label inside its elegant shaped body. Only the slight patina of the golden brown shining varnish witnesses the violins over one hundred years of existence. The precisely carved scroll gives the instrument a distinguished look. The charming sound is warm, bright, liquid, well-balanced and round. The perfect condition and the outrageous state of preservation make the antique handmade violin an excellent choice for aficionados and classicists.
