Aesthetic German violin, for tall players
This beautiful violin was handcrafted in Germany around 1930. The aesthetic workmanship shows the high skill of the manufacturer. Excellent materials and many years of experience were necessary to build such an outrageous instrument. Particularly the accurately fitting purfling and the gently swayed fluting are appreciable. The oilbased, slightly craquelled varnish is of high quality, too. Its shiny orange brown colour over yellow ground matches perfectly with the wonderfully flamed maple of the violins back. The instrument is undamaged and in perfect condition, it was worked over by our luthier and is offered ready to play. Its body lenth of 36,4 cm makes it especially suitable for tall players. The sound is brilliant, bright, open, carrying and with clear harmonic.
