Fine Markneukirchen violin bow, blank ebony frog
A magnificent bow of simplicity and elegance. It was handmade one hundred years ago in Markneukirchen. The round stick is made of glossy, brown pernambuco wood of medium strength. The black ebony frog is puristically designed and without unnecessary ornaments. A deeply shimmering pearly slide is its only decoration. The bow has an overall length of 74,5 cm and its felt balance-point is centered, tending towards the frog. The measured balance-point is at 26,5 cm from the frog end. The bow is easy and active to play, producing bright, warm sounds. A quality piece, offered ready to play!
