3/4 - elegant Saxonian 3/4 violin
This 3/4 violin from the 1930s is a particularly beautiful instrument from Saxony. The unknown violin maker demonstrated his well-honed experience in acoustic subtleties when he interpreted this Stradivari model, especially in the way the low arch of the table was executed. A delicate aesthetic sensibility can be seen in the elegantly carved sound holes and the bright, transparent orange brown varnish, which is especially flattering to the strikingly attractive and evenly-grained spruce of the top and the premium broadly flamed maple of the two-piece back. The warm, clear sound of this well-preserved violin is open and brilliant.
