Traditional Czech violin, after Stradivarius (sold)
The unique antique violin was handmade in Bohemia more than one hundred years ago. The light brown inlaid purfling is a typical feature for instruments from that region. The fluting is decently worked out. Combined with the rounded edges, flat archings and the noble boxwood fitting this makes the violins appearance gentle and harmonious. The table and the one-piece back are made of premium quality tonewoods, contributing to the warm, open, bright and sweet sound of the instrument. This violin having a length of back of 36.1 cm is especially suitable for tall players. The instrument is perfectly preservedm undamaged and was professionally set up by our experienced inhouse luthier. The instruments characteristic and individual appearance and its outstanding tonal qualities make this instrument a first choice for orchestral use.
