German Stradivarius copy, especially attractive
An antique Stradivarius copy, of outstanding beauty and sound is this antique violine, handcrafted in Germany around 1900. It is a well-made copy of Antonius Stradivarius of quality, made with care and accuracy. The patinated, dark red-brown varnish is especially attractive, it was applied on a golden ground, wear and signs from playing give the instrument its unique antique character. The general state of preservation is excellent, the violin has been luthier-set up and is ready to play. Its warm, singing sound is bright and open, textured, well-balanced, and even through the positions and over the strings. A clear open voice, rich in overtones. This violin is indeed an exceptionally attractive piece in the price range, suitable for advanced and ambitioned players.
