corilon violins

Outstanding 1930ies Markneukirchen violin

This violin reflects the finest quality craftsmanship down to the last detail. It was built around 1930 in the Vogtland village of Markneukirchen and is a typical instrument of the Markneukirchen school. The instrument was made with exceptional care using attractive tone woods lacquered with a transparent and pleasantly golden-yellow varnish. The large, precisely chiselled scroll is a testament to the artistry of the unknown violin maker who created this piece. Its harmonious appearance has an interesting antique nuance due to its light patina and traces of use. This premium Saxonian instrument can be warmly recommended; it will charm you with its large, strong and radiantly bright sound.
