Old German violin, 1920's, bright, brilliant sound

Clear and rich in overtones is the sound of this old German violin which was built in Saxony around 1920. Carefully and completely worked over by our experienced luthiers in our violin shop the attractive optical appearance of the instrument, defined by the new ebony parts and the shining, transparent orange brown varnish with some antique touches, comes into its own. The design of the elegant soundholes reminds of Stradivari, and indeed the violin was built according to his patterns. The top, made of regular grown tonewood, and the mildly flamed two-piece maple back are crafted with a flat to medium arching. This resonant, beautiful old violin from Saxony is our recommendation for players seeking a strong, bright, ringing sound, an instrument with merely some scratches preserved in perfect condition and ready to play!
