3/4 - German 3/4 violin, Hermann Keim, 1991
This 1991 German 3/4 violin of Stradivari pattern is a suitable student´s instrument that was built by Hermann Keim in the region around Bubenreuth in 1991. The violin bears a corresponding, originally handwritten label. Its very appealing, shining orange-brown spirit varnish of typical Bubenreuth appearance was applied over a golden-yellow ground. Tonewoods of quality were selected. The violin is preserved very well and with most minor traces of use to the varnish a good choice for beginners, at an economical price. Our luthiers set up the instrument completely and applied new strings, new pegs, a new bridge and soundpost and it is ready to play. The violin´s sound is bright and open with a soft note and will be certainly appreciated by young violinists.
