Bubenreuth master instrument, worthy of soloist performance
With its radiant, strong sound, this violin dating from around 1980 is a very good instrument for soloists. It was made by an unknown craftsman in the Franconian town of Bubenreuth and features premium woods. Fine- to moderately-grained spruce and mildly flamed maple were meticulously crafted by the hand of a master and varnished in a warm, dark reddish-brown against a golden-yellow. The scroll is carved with the utmost precision down to the finest detail, creating a magnificent tribute to its maker's skill. After having been worked over by our luthier, we are offering this violin in perfect, flawless condition. It is a superb instrument for demanding musicians: rich in overtones with a powerful voice that is open and resonant.
