This excellent Swissviolin bow of fine red-brown colored pernambuco wood, a lively and very active player, was crafted in the Finkel workshop in Brienz approx. 1980. Its octagonal stick features a medium strong to strong diameter that is convincingly well distributed. The blank ebony frog is silver mounted; the balance point is measured at 26.8 cm of the total length of 74.6 cm and is sensed very well balanced. The bow was made ready to play in our workshop and is highly recommendable for its excellent playing properties and its warm, rounded sound with clarity and brightness. A versatile bow that combines all appreciated features of a good violin bow.
