Handmade German violin by Werner Barth (master violin maker) from Bad Brambach near Markneukirchen. This violin is about 50 years old and its elegant appearance and clear, radiant, mature sound make it a very motivating instrument, built after a Stradivari model. Bright orange-brown varnish with its high transparency adorns the regularly grained spruce from which the top was crafted and the premium flamed maple of the two-piece back. The flat arching of the body, the concise edge work and the distinctive scroll characterize the style of this typical German Markneukirchen violin, typically built in the Markneukirchen tradition of the late 20th century, whose bright, mature sound is powerful and suitable for orchestral playing. The undamaged violin was carefully refurbished by us and made ready to play.
