Antique Bohemian Czech violin, approx. 1870

This very attractive old Czech violin features a bright, matrued, large and clear sound and an attractive visual appearance, that is determined by the antique character of its luminous orange-brown varnish. It was built late in the 19th century around 1870 by an unknown Czech violin maker and has a repair label dated 1889. The resonant, bright voice of this violin demonstrates its preferable sound properties, clear and well-balanced throughout. Some accetable repairs to the table allow us to offer this good violin at a very attractive reduced price. The scroll has a certain character, and the flamed maple of the one-piece back indicate the good craftsmanship of this good quality old Czech violin, that was completely worked over by our experienced luthiers, who made it ready to play. Includes an appraisal for 2,000 EUR.
