Old Bohemian / Czech violin, approx. 1930

This old Czech violin features an exceptionally beautiful sound and an attractive visual appearance, that is determined by the bright character of its shining, transparent orange-colored varnish. It was built approx. 1930 by an unknown Czech violin maker. The resonant, mature voice of this violin demonstrates its preferable sound properties, with a bright, ringing tone, that is clear and well-balanced throughout. The small scroll has a certain character, and the very deeply flamed maple of the two-piece back indicate the good craftsmanship of this undamaged quality violin, that was completely worked over by our experienced luthiers, who made it ready to play.
