This interesting 3/4 violin is a remarkable instrument with an interesting history that was built by Schönbach violin maker Joseph Müller in 1916. It bears the dated label. It is a fine quality mnaster instrument made as a copy of Antonius Stradivarius which can be seen in the details such as the finely executed purfling, the carving of the scroll and the rich oil varnish of quality. Its clear, bright sound is focussed and responsive, and features tonal strength as it is rarely found at children´s violins. Premium tonewoods were tastefully chosen and demonstrate the quality of this 3/4 master violin impressively, along with the fine carving of the scroll and the carefully executed purfling. The interesting, mild flames of the two-piece maple back express the experience of the violin maker, who applied a fine, orange-brown colored oil varnish with beautiful antiqueings, that developed fine patina and is typical for the Markneukirchen / Schönbach tradition of the craft. We offer this good instrument ready to play that is highly recommendable for its strong voice, after a complete work-over by our expert luthiers.
