Antique French violin. Mirecourt, approx. 1930

This good antique French violin was built in the renowned violin making town of Mirecourt in the Vosges mountains. It is recommendable choice for adult musicians who love to play an instrument with a bright, clear, somewhat sweet sound. The violin is well-preserved and was crafted in the 1930's after a proven Stradivari model; the large and distinctive scroll is the clear work of an experienced French hand. The transparent varnish is golden-brown colored and bears and some slight traces from playing, that are common for an instrument that obviously was a joy to play. Our expert violin makers completely worked over this violin, that is offered crackfree in very good condition ready to expresses its bright, clear somewhat sweet voice.
