3/4 - Fine French 3/4 violin, approx. 1910
This fine French 3/4-sized violin is an extremely rare instrument of outstanding quality at the size that was built approx. 1910, presumably in the Mangenot workshop famous violin making town of Mirecourt. Only very few violins especially of this size meet comparable standards. The delicate toenwoods, a well-crafted scroll, the small soundholes and the amazing, deeply flamed maple back with beautifully worked out archings are full of character. In exceptionally well-preserved condition this violin reveals its age only through very few traces of use and the delicate patina, that determines its noble, antique appearance. We warmly recommend the strong, mature, ringing sound of this special children‘s violin, that is full of character, suitable for a solistic play. After having been meticulously worked over in our atelier the violin is offered in perfect condition, ready to play.
