Old German violin, circa 1910, with a warm, mellow sound

This old German violin is a straightforward instrument that convinces with its beautiful sound and good playing properties and its visual aesthetic. It is an instrument from the German violin making town Markneukirchen, where it may have been built in the 1910's, a typical example of good quality manufactured violins made around the turn of the century that are completely crafted by hand. The model is designed after well-proven Stradivari patterns. The violin has been well played and is preserved with minor varnish flaws in crackfree condition. We offer this surprisingly good sounding instrument ready to play after a complete work-over in our workshop, ready to unfold its warm, balanced sound, that features good resonance.
