This violin bow ranks among the pieces E. Sartory produced during the central period of his more mature works, as can be seen by the outstanding quality with which the silver-mounted ebony frog and its Parisian eye were crafted. The stick bears E. Sartory's original stamp E. SARTORY PARIS under the frog and under the winding. The Sartory bow's sophisticated and classic sound reflects that it is a perfect masterpiece. It is sold with a certificate of authenticity by Jean-François Raffin in Paris that confirms its authenticity and good condition.
