Delicate, light-brown pernambuco was used in this fine French violin bow by Eugène Nicolas Sartory; its highly active, strong, round stick indicates that it is a typical work by Eugène Nicolas Sartory. This violin bow ranks among the pieces Eugène Nicolas Sartory produced during the central period of his more mature works, as can be seen by the outstanding quality with which the silver-mounted ebony frog and its Parisian eye were crafted. The stick bears Eugene Sartory's original stamps "E. SARTORY PARIS". This fine bow's sophisticated and classic sound reflects that it is a perfect masterpiece. It is sold with a certificate of authenticity by Jean-François Raffin in Paris that confirms its authenticity.
