The two piece top is made of fine quality regular grained spruce, the two piece back of attractive. deeply flamed maple, covered by a rich oil varnish of a luminous orange-brown color. The fine purfling and the elegant scroll is carved with the utmost precision down to the finest detail, creating a magnificent tribute to its maker's skill. This Piero Virdis violin has been well played, it is offered in perfect undamaged condition - meticulously worked over and tonally optimized by our experienced luthiers and is perfectly suitable for demanding players, who attach great importance to the musical features of their instrument.
