An excellent sounding modern German violin made in the workshop of Johann Rödig, Landshut. The violin was made in 1969 and is labeled accordingly. The label bears the siganture of Rödigs co-worker Anton Schuster who made the violin. The top is made of medium grained spruce, the one piece back of flamed maple. The varnish is a beautiful oil varnish of a transparent golden brown color. The violin is in good immediate playing condition. There is a repair to the neck (the violin is priced accordingly). The outstanding sound is brigh and brilliant, clear, carrying, dominant and rich in overtones. Special recommendation!
