Older English violin, J. R. Dutton 1979

This old English violin made by J. R. Dutton in 1979 is a strikingly beautiful handmade instrument with a unique tone that deserves our special recommendation. It features a warm, silvery voice full of character and beautiful resonance, warmth and good power and strength, an individual piece of character, made by this English maker. The slim model is after Stradivarius with typical English features, the original label is inside the body. The luminous golden yellow oil varnish has been richly applied and is highly transparent, with some most minor traces of use. Without any repair or damage, this instrument is well preserved and offered ready to play, after having been meticulously worked over and set up by the violin makers in our workshop. The violin projects well and is very convenient to play.
