This fine quality German violin bow is strong and active, it was made in Markneukirchen around 1930. The elastic round stick is of very good tension, made of fine quality red-brown pernambuco wood. The stick is of high tension and plays actively and bouncy. The blank ebony frog is silver mounted. The weight is 61.4 g, the total length 74.6 cm. The felt balance point is centered, slightly shifted towards the upper half of the stick with a balance point measured at 25.4 cm from the frog end (adjuster length included).
