Markneukirchen violin bow, bright, clear sound, lightweight

This strong and active German violin bow is a lightweight player, it was made in Markneukirchen around 1940. The stiff, round stick is of very good tension, made of fine quality light-brown pernambuco wood. The stick is of high strength and plays actively and bouncy - it is therefore well suitable for players who play with high pressure - this bow fits well to violins with mellow, dull tones. The ebony frog is nickel mounted with pearl eye and slide. The weight is 55.5 g the length 74.2 cm. The felt balance point is centered. The balance point is measured at 24.4 cm from the frog end (adjuster length included). This strong, lightweight violin bow is in perfect and immediate playing condition. Works well for fast virtuoso play and Mozart pieces.
