Good German violin bow, W. E. Dörfler

This new, recommendable W.E. Dörfler German violin bow is an versatile and very useful fullsized violin bow made in the W. E. Dörfler workshops. The stick is stamped W. E. Dörfler on shaft above the frog. The round stick is made of light brown pernambuco wood, the length is 74.2 cm. The ebony frog is nickel mounted with Parisian eye and nicely shimmering pearl slide. The stick is of good strength and has a measured balance point is at 26,9 cm from the frog end, the felt balance point is located in the upper half of the stick. The bow plays strong and active and is óffered in new condition. This very versatile bow works well with almost any instrument and produces a good, bright, warm, rounded sound.
