Charles Nicolas Bazin established his own workshop in Mirecourt in the year 1869. Always following the principles of Tourte, C.N. Bazins workmanship was of high precision and quality. Today bows of C. N. Bazin and his atelier are highly demanded by musicians worldwide. This excellent violin bow by Charles Nicolas Bazin is the result of many years of experience, excellent craftsmanship and well selected materials. The round stick features good tension and stiffness. The finely finished frog is nickel mounted and decorated with a nacre eye and pearl slide. The balance-point is well centered,slightly pointing towards the upper half of the stick allowing perfect tip control. This fine French violin bow by Charles Nicolas Bazin produces a crystal, open, textured and large sound. A certificate of authenticity by Jean-François Raffin, Paris is included in the price.
