Excellent German master violin bow, sweet, fluid sound, 1920's

This fine quality Markneukirchen violin bow is a high-class quality masterpiece that was made in the 1920ies. This fine, unstamped violin bow measures 74,4 cm from head to frog end. The fine octagonal stick is made of premium dark red-brown pernambuco wood. The stick combines medium tension, beautiful elasticity and activity and works actively yet handy and active and plays fluidly. The delicate head is worked out to the finest grade. The ebony frog is nickel mounted and adorned with a Pearl eye and a pearly slide. This fine and recommendable Markneukirchen violin bow is accurately, if not perfectly balanced, the felt balance-point is well centered with a slight tendency towards the upper half of the stick. The measured balance-point is at 26.7 cm from the frog end including the length of the adjuster. This fine German violin bow is in excellent condition and produces a warm, sweet, bright, fluid sound and works with most instruments.
