Excellent German Violin bow. Light, strong and active

This lightweight virtuoso and highly recommendable German violin bow is a mid 20th century piece of work, handmade in Markneukirchen in approximately the 1950's. With its strong, yet lightweight and tense round pernambuco stick that plays highly actively, yet this good bow produces a strong, warm rounded sound. The balance point is centered and as result the bow feels very handy and allows most virtuoso play with good "bite", the balance point measured at 25.3 cm from the frog end including the adjuster. The frog is nickel mounted with a Pearl eye. The total length is 74.5 cm. This recommendable "Mozart" bow is undamaged, worked over with new hair and is suitable for active and advanced and very good players.
