Mid 20th century Markneukirchen violin - concert master choice!

A powerful soloist instrument with a mature, radiant and large, rounded tone: this brilliant sounding German violin was handcrafted in Markneukirchen around 1950. The instrument is quality handmade instrument made by a talented person. Especially the details, such as the precisely cut and elegant soundholes, the neatly inlaid purfling, edgework and the nicely carved scroll, show the hands of a talented violin maker. The orange-brown varnish shows some craquellation as it is typical for Markneukirchen violins of that period. This powerful and highly recommendable Markneukirchen violin was completely set up and adjusted by our expert luthiers and is offered in perfect, crack-free condition and ready to play. Its powerful, mature, warm and balanced sound is nuanced and features bright, brilliant, luminous tones - powerful on all strings up to the highest positions.
