SALE Italian violin from the 1970's - warm, mellow sound
This full-blooded Italian violin with a warm, golden and mellow sound demonstrates craftsmanship of typical "Italian" quality. It is a violin with exceptionally beautiful melting sound, unique woods and an indeed interesting scroll, a Northern Italian piece made in the 1970's. The top is made of two pieces of finely to moderately grained spruce; the two-piece back features elegantly mildly flamed maple. The rich oil varnish is very transparent, and its golden-yellow puts the beautiful grain of the sound woods in the most appealing light. This Italian violin is in very good condition and undamaged with the exception of a short repair made to the top near the saddle. Its sound is warm, golen, mellow, with a very slight sweet undertone that is highly appreciated in Italian instruments.
