German Violin made in the French style, Saxony, circa 1910

A warm, dark sound, rich in overtones and resonant – not too loud - and good craftsmanship throughout: This elegant German violin, made by an unknown luthier, will certainly win you over. It was built in Saxony around 1910, after a French model with strong influences of Antonio Stradivari patterns, such as the flat arching and the interesting accentuated edges. The narrowly flamed two-piece back and the top made of fmedium-grained spruce covered by shining varnish of deep-red color are outstanding signs of quality. Visible signs from playing have absolutely no impact on the harmonious design of the violin. This beautiful instrument was completely worked over by our luthier and is sold in very good, crack-free condition, ready to play!
