3/4 - fine French 3/4 violin from Mirecourt

This especially beautiful, antique appearing fine French 3/4 violinMirecourt, following patterns of the great Guarneri, as it is indicated by the label. Finest tonewoods - fine to medium grained spruce for the top and amazingly flamed maple for the back - were used to create an instrument featuring a strong sound, full of character, warm and round in the lower ranges, light, clear and shining in the upper ranges. The scroll is well-crafted, with a very individual shape, and the highly transparent, shining golden-yellow varnish has charming patina. With a minor soundhole-repair the violin is in perfect condition; it was completely worked over by our luthier and is ready to play.
