Recommendable antique Markneukirchen violin with a dark, brilliant sound

This truly attractive and tonally much recommendable antique Markneukirchen violin was built in Saxony in the 1920's and is a piece of good craftsman tradition, made after a broad Stradivari pattern. The antique character is determined by the slightly patinated varnish, that shows minor traces from time, the precisely cut soundholes, elegant purfling and the transparent varnish, which is of a bright orange-red color, applied over a lighter orange ground. This powerful instrument is undamaged and was completely worked over by our luthier and is offered in immediate playing condition. It features a mature, dark, brilliant, resonant sound with sweet clarity and an immediate response - by all means an exceptional tonal quality in the price range.
