3/4 - powerful old German 3/4 violin, prob. A. C. Glier
This very pretty, antique 3/4 violin from Germany with a bright, warm sound was made in the 1900's, very likely by the renowned A. C. Glier saxon manufacture in Markneukirchen/Klingenthal. The model is after Antonius Stradivarius. The top is made of medium grained spruce, the back is a mildly flamed two piece back. The varnish is of a bright golden-yellow color and with many signs from playing in good condition, as the violin in general which is undamaged. Like all old stringed instruments from Corilon violins, it has been completely worked over in our atelier for violin making and restoration and is offered ready to play.
