1/2 - attractive French 1/2 violin from Mirecourt

This attractive French half-sized violin was crafted approx. 1900 in Mirecourt; it is a very beautiful instrument, that was built on a Stradivarius model. The elegant shape and the well-crafted, fluted arching are very similar to a true Stradivarius copy. Slightly accentuated edges and the distinctive scroll, that was designed in a typical French style, are exceptionally nice, as well as the antiqued, orange-brown varnish that covers the instrument. The well-kept 1/2 violin is sold in perfectly preserved, undamaged and was worked over by our violin makers, who made it ready to play. Its voice is of recommendable warmth and character.
