Cremonese master violin, Piergiuseppe Esposti, 1998 (certificate Piergiuseppe Esposti)
This modern Italian master violin is a late work by Cremonese luthier Piergiuseppe Esposti, who studied with Sgarabotto and Bissolotti. This violin was built in 1998 and bears the original label. Richly applied, glossy oil varnish of intensively bright orange-brown color covers the perfectly preserved instrument. The large and well-carved scroll features an impressive appearance that excellently matches the overall shape of the body - Piergiuseppe Esposti's personal Stradivarius model - while, on the other hand, the contrast with the slim soundholes and delicate purfling is another detail full of character. We offer this powerful modern Cremonese violin undamaged, ready to play, worked over completely by our professional violin maker, and tonally optimized. We now recommend its bright, mature and radiant, responsive soloist sound to very good players and professionals. A certificate of authenticity by Piergiuseppe Esposti is included in the price.
