Old German violin, Saxony, approx. 1930

This old violin from Saxony in Germany is a piece of good craftsmanship and was built approx. 1930 in an unknown workshop, a successful handwork with a carefully crafted arching. Quality tonewoods and patina determine the old appearance and individual style of this German violin, such as the flat arch, the rounded edges and the slender purfling. We can offer this robust handmade German violin at a reasonable price - undamaged and in very good condition, ready to play and with an optimum sound after a meticulous work-over by our luthier - a convincing instrument with a beautiful strong sound, that is warm, dark and clear, yet with the special quality that old instruments exclusively possess.
