Old German 1940's violin from Markneukirchen

This old German violin from Markneukirchen is a straightforward instrument that convinces as well with its beautiful strong sound and surprisingly good playing properties as with its visual aesthetic. It is an instrument from the well-known German violin making town Markneukirchen in Saxony, where it may have been built in the 1940s, a typical example of well crafted quality violins that are completely crafted by hand. The model is designed after well-proven Stradivari patterns. Patina, polish, traces of use and minor varnish flaws indicate, that it was a pleasure to the violin´s former owners to play on it. We offer this good violin with only a top seam repair covered by the tailpiece (which is considered in the price) in good condition, after a complete work-over in our workshop, ready to unfold its bright, warm sound, that features good resonance and is much better than the sound of new violins in the same price range from factory or manufactory production.
