This fine antique French violin is a 3/4-sized instrumen that was built by the Brice brothers in 1939 in Juvaincourt. It is a small sized violin of excellent quality craftsmanship, that is rarely to be found today. The arching of the two-piece spruce table is flawlessly crafted, as is the shape of the back that was made of beautifully flamed maple. The oil varnish features a warm, orange-brown color and was applied over a golden-yellow ground; it bears interesting slight patina and has almost no several traces of use. This extraordinary fine 3/4 violin is undamaged and crack-free, ready to play after a complete reconditioning by our expert luthiers. This rare French 3/4 violin clearly deserves our warmest recommendation for its warm, bright, matured sound, that is full of character.
