Mittenwald violin after Guarneri, Hans Fürst, no. 200

This very good violin numbered 200 is a high quality handmade instrument from the renowned Bavarian violin making town of Mittenwald, that was built approximately 1950 after a well-proven Guarneri model and bears the original label by Hans Fürst. The flat arching with soft fluting, tastefully rounded corners and the well-made inlaid purfling introduce a good example of traditional craftsmanship. This Mittenwald of quality convinces with its powerful, well-balanced, resonant, warm sound, a strong voice that features very good response. Like all instruments and bows in our catalogue this undamaged piece was worked thoroughly and is offered with a new bridge, new soundpost, new strings, etc. in best condition, ready to play. Some varnish flaws on top have no impact on sound of stability of the violin and are already considered in the price.
